Two weeks and it will be Christmas!!... Woo! The one time of the year where everything stops, so we can get together with our loved ones to exchange gifts, feast and be merry :)
There is a lot of preparations for this special day... and its always the little things that make it magical, so here's a little tutorial on how to create your own Christmas gift boxes from Christmas cards...
So first thing to do... Select a Christmas card...
... and cut it down the middle...
... set the half with the decoration to one side...
... then cut around 2mm strips from 2 sides of the card...
... measure and mark with a pencil 1 inch from each corner...
... using a Stanley knife or an empty pen, draw lines from each mark to create folds...
... fold over each line...
... cut two slits on one line as shown above...
...on each corner square apply double sided tape, glue or just doubled sticky tape...
... and then attach...
...and fill with lots of treats for that someone special in your life... :)
